BUILDING A BETTER COMMUNITY
Now that we can see the new Surgery and
Housing being built next to Wickham Centre,
we can plan for a community hub. Our
ambition is to make the most of this golden
opportunity, to work with the doctors and
Wickham Church of England Primary School to
bring to the wider community a comprehensive
service for everyone.
During this year, there will be a certain amount
of chaos while the development is going ahead
and the new road is being built on The
Centre’s site. But we want to plan for the future
so that we can get going in 2012. If you are
interested in making the most for your
community, why not join us and share your
ideas. We start work directly after our AGM
when we are forming into groups to look at the
development of Business and Community
opportunities whilst a second group looks at
our finances and organisational planning.
We are always looking for new blood, so if you
are interested in the future of your community,
please make sure that you jump on board at
the beginning of this exciting new era.
